I began my career in Boston Public Schools in September of 2005 as a substitute teacher throughout the district. I was given the opportunity through BPS to earn my initial licensure in moderate disabilities and completed the Pathways program in 2006. I became a full time teacher at the Tynan School in South Boston with a 3,4,5th grade class for developmental delayed students.
In 2011 BPS introduce the Intellectually Impaired Strand and I was fortunate to land here at the Conley School where I currently teach 2, 3, and 4th grade of the II strand. I continue to evolve as a teacher and am very blessed to have the level of support at the Conley Community.
I have one daughter who graduated from LeMoyne College in 2015 and is currently doing a year of service through Americorps as an elementary teacher in Los Angeles, California.
I have a Masters Degree in Public Administration rom UMASS Boston. I have worked in Washington D.C. and at various environmental projects throughout New England.
